Works really well
I bought two types of stud remover at the same time the ball roller type and this simple unit which grips the stud with a knurled wheel. I have used this tool now four times and it is very effective, to the point were if the stud is totally seized in it will shear the stud off it grips that strongly . It can marginally mark the stud thread however it is worth that for the amount of torque the tool transmits . Totally hopeless
Though this would solve my probkem. Absolute waste of time. I wished id saved time and bought the socket set instead. Its slips, it doesnt grip at all. At first you think your using it wrong, but your not.

It will not grip studs no matter which way you try. Absolutely garbage. Rubbish tool. Mole grips worked far better if replacing the studs.
