Goes great with my kitchen and it’s lovely quality. Only thing that would make it better was if the lid was hinged rather than coming off completely. But that is personal preference and it really is a great, very tight seal too

Stylish
This replaced our council-issue green compost caddy, which was bulkier and unsightly. This Nostalgia Antique caddy fits nicely on our kitchen counter and has a strong seal around the lid so odours don’t escape. The only downside is that the seal is so good, you have to use both hands to lift the lid, which isn’t ideal when you’re holding compost bits.

Just what I wanted
Okay, I could have bought a much cheaper bin, but I wanted this one! Nice, compact footprint, so far it is sturdy enough. I use paper compost bags and supermarket paper compost bags fit well. The size means you cannot leave it too long between emptyings, which is good for me, as it stops it festering too long and getting manky.
