Lock down escapism
I have read and re read the 5 books that make up the Belgariad and the castle of wizardry is the fourth title in the series. Perfect for holiday reading, or just a bit of fantastic escapism recommended reading from 10 yrs and upwards. It has everything that the best fairy tale needs. Wizards, trolls, gleaming knights, evil magicians, a spoilt princess and a reluctant hero. Wonderful.

Great read
Excellent book, my son has read it and re-read as he likes ot so much. He hassaid that the story is exciting, complex and engaging and hes only 12 with a reading age of 17 years old. David Eddings is an engaging author and his subject matter is written in a way which is able to be read with ease rather than a struggle to become involved with.
