    Spot on

    If and when used correctly this is a very good value kit. I bought it for the toolbox in general but also to remove a broken sprocket bolt from a motorcycle. Drill bits are nice and sharp and extractors have a good thick thread. Remember when drilling slow speed and medium pressure is key as well as lubrication to keep the bit and item cool. Anyone thinking they are rubbish is not following the basics of extraction/drilling and not using them correctly. I’d say the only downside with this kit is the fact the drill bits are not left handed which in some cases may actually cause the bolt to actually tighten when drilling so only 4 stars due to that.

    They work but they won’t last

    Motorcycle brake disc rotor bolts were totally seized. After giving them the usual attention by tapping with a centre punch, applying heat and lubricant which usually works well, I bought these extractors. They worked on 2 bolts but the extractor is too worn out now for further use. It is well known that this method is somewhat hit and miss so the fact I got two bolts out where other methods failed has to be a hit. I’m now looking at the arc welding method to remove the one bolt remaining.

    Great piece of kit

    It was a good price for a good make. Used the smallest bit to extract a screw from a outdoor light. The screw was a straight head screw Bored a hole with the bit provided which was as good as any i have bought before. Screwed in the extractor bit and the screw came out no problem. Great job. If used correctly and with reasonable care should last a long time.Should work on any sort of screw head or bolt.

    Easy outs

    Hi Have used once up to now on a difficult job . The smallest one in the kit , it proved to be very strong and gripped exceptionally well . I can’t help more as it’s the sort of kit that for me will only be used on rare occasions. Good luck Bob.😀
