    Value for money upgrade for those horrible LGA775 Celerons

    I just needed to get rid (burn and destroy) an old Celeron from the PC I was upgrading. After careful research on which CPU the motherboard could take – I opted for this one. I didn’t go mad and pick the most powerful, quad-core processor. I needed to stay in-budget, without the need to change the PSU. All things being considered, and with a slight upgrade in the CPU fan, I got the PC a fantastic upgrade. I installed Win10 and the PC is much more usable than before. Highly recommend this CPU.

    Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400S

    The CPU arrived really late for me. I am just glad it arrived. The Quad Q8400S, I give it 3 stars, because it runs at 60 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit. And that is pretty normal according to different sites. Of course, I put in the proper chemical paste, heat sink, and fans to keep it cool. However, really, its not worth it from a power (watts) and performance perspective.

    Quick and easy upgrade

    Purchased this to upgrade my Intel Core 2 Duo CPU to a quad core CPU. Performs very well despite being used in a temp gaming rig and its age. Yes i recommend this as an upgrade for older pc's.
