  • A little gem

This book is beautifully produced, a pleasure to pick up and read. The abundance of photographs is skilfully integrated with the text giving a definite feel for the period Markova is describing. I found it a fine complement to the biography of Frederick Ashton by Julie Kavanagh. Well worth the investment.
