      RAM CLAMPS FOR LASER ALIGNMENT.

      I had designed and 3D printed bespoke laser alignment tools for my work and I needed a way to mount them securely so that they would stay firmly in place, but also be adjusted easily when required. So I added a 1" ball to the design of the parts then I 3D printed them again. This new design meant that I could use them with the 1" ram mount ball clamps. I have to say that they were absolutely perfect for the job and I am very happy with them. They are easy for the production machine operators to adjust without too much explanation and they are robust enough so that the heavy handed operators won't break them. A very good strong design, and now that I have used them once I have the confidence to use them again for other similar jobs on the factory floor without fear of failure.
