    The shipyard girls

    I bought all 4 books they are very interesting i would definitely recommend, the only slight niggle I have is there isn't enough accent in the writing, I read a lot of books based in the northeast (Sunderland, Newcastle) and I like it when the writer adds local dialect when someone is speaking it makes reading the book more authentic, but overall very interesting.

    Easy reading - compelling stories

    Fabulous series of books, I am about halfway through collecting them, once you start you can't put them down. I love just following all the characters lives the good the bad and that lovely female friendship that just stands the test of time

    Third book of this series and I am hooked on the characters and the period and setting of the stories. Nancy Revell brings these people alive and the wartime atmosphere of the shipyards.
