  • Value for money

Writing a review for the is compelling book is almost a crime. A remarkable story and I have been lucky to get this for a great price. Will be doing my usual, when I find something worth sharing, and will leave this book to be found for free when next out and about.

  • Historically Significant

What an amazing turn of phrase Solzhenitsyn has. He makes the unconscionable readable. This is a really important book to read - to learn how ideological stances can turn people against each other and bring suffering to millions unnecessarily. It is heartbreaking but such a valuable read.

It’s a 2nd hand book, in very good condition. The author is (was) a famous Russian. Need to read the book before reviewing the exceptional storyline.
