    Don't judge a great spanner by its picture.

    This is a great spanner. It is a really well made quality product with deep "jaws" that spread the load. Their strength does not really show on the photograph. I bought it to shift stubborn caliper union bolts and it worked a treat. Undid the bolts easily with no damage. I wished I had bought one years ago.

    Brake Spanner

    I don't know why I haven't bought one of these before. Makes tightening and loosening brake connections so easy. It's got both 10mm and 11mm ends so fitted both size connections I had on my brakes and because the design is more secure than a normal spanner you can apply more pressure without the risk of slipping or damaging your nuts. As it was quite cheap, it's probably not for a professional but would last a DIY mechanic like myself years if not a lifetime. Really pleased with it.

    Does the job

    Works as you would expect and worth having in your toolbox, however could be slightly better in the slot that scut for the brake pipe is overly big compared to the picture so you don't get that much purchase on the open Face of the fitting nut, which is the point over this compared to a normal spanner. Still grips about but it the slot was smaller it would be better. Still if you have a stuck fitting you end up snipping pipe and using a socket and reflaring the pipe.with anew fleeting so not a biggy

    Rigt tool for the job.

    Great tool, easy to use, and works well. It gets a good grip on the brake line nuts, and is strong, and well made. Much better than using open ended spanners.
