Per Freud il godimento, comunque interdetto, si incentra tutto, per chiunque, sulla funzione fallica. Per Lacan il godimento, sebbene strutturalmente non sia permesso all'essere parlante, può essere detto tra le righe. Che Lacan sintetizza nell'aforisma "non c'è rapporto sessuale".
