    Bushes with a mind of their own.

    These bushes appear to be made of quality materials and the price is right and arrived promptly. Unfortunately I could not press them into place. I used rubber grease, soap and silicon grease, a press and a large socket to spread the load. all to no avail. Instead of the bush sliding into place , it just bulged out . I guess it must be me ,but I tried with all the lubricants above but no good. I tried using a worm drive clip to stop the bulging, and this worked to a certain extent, but found the worm drive needed to be about twice as wide as they are. A bit like using a ring compressor to install engine pistons. Like I said it must be me, but that's my experience. I've tried to get some bushes with an outer sleeve but they seem to be in short supply.
