      Light strings with nice range of tones and smooth finger-feel

      Just started playing bass less than a year ago and these are the first new strings I've bought to replace the originals that came installed on my bass. What a difference in tone! Lighter than my original strings with great sound. Nice bright tone on highs and deep fuzz/growl on lows. Plucking gives a nice twang without extra buzz. Strings feel light and smooth on my fingers, which is great for people like me that play for hours on end. I'm no pro, but I think I'll stick with Rotosound from here on out! Absolutely worth the buy.

      Not what I expected

      Not much sustain. Uneven tone and volume from string to string. Stiff to play. First time trying this brand since they came out years ago. Disappointed.

      Excellent Strings On J Bass

      Rotosound 66 have a nice growl to them that no other string produces. These are easy on the fingers and have a good service life if you keep them clean.

      Love my Rotosound Swing Bass strings!

      I've been using these strings since the mid 70's. I've tried others but always come back to these. I have these on my Jazz Bass and my Rickenbacker. The have bright tone and awesome sustain.

      Quality, ‘consistent’ strings!

      Have been using Rotos for many years- always of a consistent quality. I use the stainless steel ones on one of my basses- wanted something a bit ‘softer’- these (nickels) work well for that.
