Good IT mode SAS/SATA controller for mechanical HDD's
Seller offered a commercial quality used SAS/SATA controller that was reflashed to make it a simple pass thru IT mode controller and that is exactly what I received.. I installed it in a HP DL380 g7 server running Windows 10 pro x 64 along with 4 x 4tb 2.5 inch mechanical Seagate drives.. The operating system did not require any special drivers or settings.. The LSI 9211 chip is fine for mechanical drives but I would not recommend it for high end solid state drives as it may not fulfil the higher throughput abilities of them.Seller offered a commercial quality used SAS/SATA controller that was reflashed to make it a simple pass thru IT mode controller and that is exactly what I received..
