The super-low price attracted me to this product. However, a couple of problems arose. First problem: the advert implies this is a USB 3.0 device. But I don't think this is correct because the USB connector has a black plastic insert, implying USB1 or USB 2. USB 3 usually has a blue insert. Also the device is recognised by Linux as a USB 2.0 device. It is described as 10/100Mbs, which also indicates USB2.0 is appropriate. Secondly, not recognised as an ethernet device by Linux.

Item arrived safe and sound, without its original packaging. Having it placed in some bubble wrap and in a sturdy cardboard box, would have been far more better. It arrived unpackaged in its box, in a plain plastic bag. Not the most assuring and secure form of packaging. Item just as described. Thank-you ever so kindly.
