Simply changed over the key and battery, clicked the case together and secured the key end with a small screw supplied. All done and good as new. I had most of the fob in my hand with the key blade in the car ignition. I had to work the blade out and stick the fob case together with ducktape to get the car locked. In addition, the interior cavity seems to be much deeper than a standard honda key, as it needs several layers of packing behind the electronics before a button press activates the key. I need something much more robust.
