So sad the show ended!
This is an excellent show and I'm so sad there are no new episodes. My kids are 5 and 2 and we've used the potty time video for each of them. Bear and his friends teach great lessons with such a soft approach and fun and engaging music. There really isn't a show like it on TV anymore. Pick these up wherever you can get them!

I purchased this video with a half-hearted hope that it would help me potty train my three year old. We had been trying everything we could think of for several months with a hit or miss result. This video did it! Whe knew? She now likes to "listen to her body". As far as I can tell, it does not cover getting up in the middle of the night to go potty, or about going first thing in the morning, so she still wets her diaper before she gets out of bed. That seems like an obstacle we can overcome now that she uses the potty during the day! I would recommend this video to anyone potty training their child. We do not subscribe to a cable service, so she was not familiar with Bear, but she related to the characters anyway. Thanks to the makers of this DVD for a smaller diaper bill and ... Must Have! This worked for my son.
This is very simple yet very effective. We had been teaching our son and he had been doing well, but he had not set his mind to using the potty. He did it when he wanted to. It was very frustrating. At 2 1/2 I bought this DVD in addition to other books. I didn't even open the other books. He watched the DVD one time and started using the potty. He has watched it several time since then, but has not had an accident. He is now wearing big boy underwear and very proud of it. Bear and friends know how to communicate to at a child's level that seems to make a difference. I hope it can do the same for you. Good luck!This is very simple yet very effective. Totally Satisfied With - Potty Time With Bear DVD
I'm helping potty my three year old Grand Daughter. We'd tried everything but nothing worked. We tried praise,bribing,gifts,etc but no luck. My Grand Daughter loves Big Bear so I did a search for Big Bear DVDS. While looking at the search I noticed a Bear in the Big Blue House - Potty Time With Bear DVD. I was willing to try anything that would help with potty training because it was going terrible with no consistency at all. She would do #1 occasionally but never #2. As soon as the DVD came my Grand Daughter literally memorized it. She would say parts of the DVD word per word. She's now 99% potty trained and all thanks to a Big Bear Potty Training DVD. In one week the Big Bear DVD did what we had try to do unsuccessfully for months. I'd highly recommend this DVD to ... I'm helping potty my three year old Grand Daughter. It helped potty train!
I have to be honest, the show kinda drove me crazy but it helped potty train my stubborn almost 4 year old and my 2 year old. While they watched it it’s like something clicked in their head and they wanted to go like the big kids do. They are trained now and still like to watch it every other day or so.
