      It kinda works..

      Used on a polycarbonate body to remove old flaking paint. All it seems to do is melt the paint but it doesn't wipe off. If you scrub at it long enough you can get some sort of decent finish but I bought this thinking the product would do the hard work, I'm now thinking it's made the flaking paint worse.

      No qualms, works safely

      I was a bit worried about using this product to strip the paint from a plastic Ratio carriage roof but it worked well, and perfectly safely. It originally had a thick coat of gloss white enamel.It took 2 to 3 applications to completely remove all the original paint but it did so cleanly and without damage to the plastic. I washed the item clean with tap water, dried and it was ready to repaint. Job done.

      Works well if immediately covered in clingfilm to stop it drying out. Need quite a lot, so a bottle is only sufficient for a small number of jobs.

      Avoid

      Having fell victim to all the positive reviews I purchased some to remove the paint from a Bachmann model loco body. It did indeed effortlessly remove the paint, unfortunately it also severely attacked the plastic and basically destroyed weeks worth of work Therefore both this product and the loco body went into the bin. I would not recommend this product at all
