Best Telescope in this price range
The Astromaster 60LT surprised me by how good the magnification is and how sharp the image is. It is simple to set up and the reason i picked this Telescope was that besides the low price the Telescope comes with a sturdy steel tube legged tripod, 2 Eyepieces, an upright view diagonal and a metal accessory tray. Also because the Telescope has a Vixen dovetail and the Tripod mount has a Vixen dovetail clamp it means the Telescope can be used with other tripods and the Tripod can be used with other Telescopes unlike most Telescope and Tripod combis at this price range where you can't use one without the other. The 700mm focal length means the provided 20mm and 10mm Eyepieces give 35x and 70x magnification respectively. The Tripod can be adjusted to be used by kids and adults and is not ...
