    Killer strings for killer sound

    This is the first time I used strings like these (coated). I mostly play extreme metal and I use some distortion with high tremble. Zero noise, great feel and killer metallic sound. I use 1 tone down tuning which I think is the most suitable for this size of the string (50-110). And all this at such a great price. Totally recommended

    Better than your average strings

    These strings are so easy on the fingers. Since I am a novice, the steel strings were a bit much on my fingers. I saw these when I was looking to re-string my bass and thought the black would look good on the red wood. I was right, they looked awesome and to my surprise didn’t hurt my fingers at all. They sounded great too!

    These strings produce a wicked low grungy sound while also havin g the ability to give very sharp highs. Awesome strings, and the black color SICK!!!! Incredible string at an excellent price!

    Great quality and good sounding strings at a great price!

    Excellent strings!! Great tone that lasts a good long time, months later, these strings still have great tone. Very comfortable on the hands and with the heavier gauge, you still have good string tension when tuning down a half step. String coating does not wear off, like some other coated strings do. Try 'em, you'll like 'em !!!

    Tone

    I absolutely love the look, sound and feel of coated strings vs. Uncoated. Punchy and warm when you want it but lets the highs pierce through nicely. Well balanced. Though as a rule with many coated strings, if you frequently attack with a pick, you will eventually wear the coating off on that section though i haven't noticed any change in sound.
