Secret agent Harry Tasker (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is a busy man; when he's not saving the world from terrorists, he's under cover as a boring computer salesman, juggling the everyday needs of his wife, Helen (Jamie Lee Curtis), and his daughter. While Harry and his partner, Gib (Tom Arnold), work to stop a gang of international terrorists from getting their hands on missing nuclear weapons, Helen, feeling neglected, begins a covert affair with a sleazy used car salesman pretending to be a spy. When Harry finds out, he decides to give Helen a lesson in spy games, which backfires when the couple is kidnapped and stuck in the middle of an international terrorist crisis. Director James Cameron topped his previous spectaculars with this action-comedy extravaganza (the most expensive film ever made before TITANIC), featuring amazing stunts and special effects. Actual Harrier jets were hired from the U.S Air Force for their sequence, while production dangled from a skyscraper over the streets of Miami for the amazing climax. TRUE LIES is based on a 1991 French spy comedy entitled LA TOTALE! (Translation: THE JACKPOT).

    Awesome action flick that's tons of fun

    True Lies Crazy story, an amazing cast, and superb direction makes True Lies one of the best Arnie films of all time. Arnold, Jamie Lee, Bill Paxton, and Tom Arnold round out a prefect cast. True Lies is one of the funniest action films ever made. Final Verdict: 5/5 Rent or Buy?: This film is definitely worth buying, it's great action that doesn't take itself too seriously, and you'll laugh every single time you watch it.     Stone Cold

    I like everything about this movie. Its a different Arnold movie in some ways because he plays a spy and trys to keep his wife (Jamie Lee Curtis) from knowing his job. Tom Arnold is hallarious in this as he is the getaway man for Arnold when they are onto him. I don't want to tell you too much about the movie and how it goes. The part where Jamie Lee Curtis gets caught up in being a spy by this guy who is just using the spy line as a pick up line. And he is found out almost immediately. This movie has action. Its funny. Suspensful.And with alot of action and things exploding. Just the kind of movies i love. But a copy. You won't be dissapointed. I have a DVD version but was dissapointed because it wasn't widescreen but worse. It was like i was looking thru a mailbox. It was like a 10 ...

    Thrilling

    There's 90s action. Ahnold. Jamie Lee Curtis a little more adventurous than in Halloween. Fight scenes. Ahnold and Jamie Lee fighting bad guys together. And James Cameron directed this. What more could one ask for?
