    I waited until I'd fitted one before providing feedback. Verdict: excellent. Useful size (great for 4mm-scale old-school Hornby and Lima diesels and electrics); pad spacing makes soldering wires easy; 2 optional connections to each pin (flat pad and drilled pad) which can also both be used if necessary at no detriment; all pads clearly labelled. Bargain price for the quality. Easy to make a DCC conversion look neat and tidy. Arrived swiftly and safely. Highly recommended to others!

    Just what I need to convert a dc to DCC loco without having to solder directly to the controller wires. It’s a small well made part so should fit most locos. Only problem was the time it took the post office to deliver - nearly 2 weeks; not the seller’s fault so doesn’t affect my comments/scores.

    I ordered this 8 pin sockets they are actually great sockets and well designed. Unfortunately they were not what I was expecting for requirements, however the seller was great in his communication on the matter. I will further modify one for my requirements and the others for the future trains conversion to DCC. The pcb board layout offers very practical connection for wiring like holes and pads for each of the 8 wires.
