This is a self winding hose reel. What more can I say?
The thing is fine, practical and seemingly well made. It's not possible to see "The Works", so it's not possible to judge as to its longevity. It's certainly better than wrestling long lengths of stiff and water heavy hose. I have only two niggles. The box had a "View the contents" cut-out, which is probably why the "Hozelock" decal plate which covers the water inlet connection was missing. But it's only a decoration and an ongoing ad for the maker, so is of no consequence. The cut-out may be responsible too for the absence of one of the hose fittings, but fortunately, I was able to re-use the fitting off the old hose.The thing is fine, practical and seemingly well made. Good product but poor fit to std connectors.
Well produced item. However it proved very difficult to fit the supplied connectors to the 'mini' hose diameter. Eventually accomplished with aid of boiling water, small cuts to the tube and vaseline. A tapered connector inner would eliminate the problem.

Hozelock Mini auto reel.
This is excellent and ideal for anyone with a small garden and a new puppy .... The obvious advantage of quick and easy access and instant retraction makes life so easy. This has replaced a static hose which had to be coiled onto a wall mounted bracket after every use resulting in a tangled hose and much frustration, especially after dark. Worth every penny in my estimation.
