    Quality at low cost

    I've owned Makita power tools for for over thirty years and this latest addition is typical of Makita quality aqnd at this price a bargain. Powerful yet easy to handle, does the job perfectly. If you only need a corded sander this one I can highly recommend.

    Mikita Sander made in China not Japan

    This M9204 sander worked well - pity no speed control just on or off. The Hook and Loop pad is ok with some discs but some with less 'fluff' does not attach very well in fact not at all with some as they just keep coming off which is annoying but that is the only downside. Light and comfortable to use with one hand.

    Seems ok

    Single speed but should not make a difference. Only came today so haven’t had chance to use it. Bit disappointed with the delivery in the it was thrown over the gate box was bashed so hope it hasn’t damaged it long term. Also delivery took far longer than stated.

    Good value for money

    Really amazing little sander- it's compact yet it fits my hand well, it's simple to operate, sands surfaces easily and quickly, and isn't too loud. The only complaint I have is that the dust bag can be quite tough to get on, which means it sometimes comes loose, but this is a very minor issue; otherwise, if you're looking for an inexpensive, reliable sander, you can't go wrong.

    Small but powerful and efficient.

    The sander is small but powerful, it is comfortable to hold when doing a long sanding job and doesn't leave you with any after feeling in your hands when you are done. The only bad point is the Dust Bag flies off at every opportunity, the fitting may need redesigning so it clips on rather than sliding on to fit. All in all its a good sander.
