Nostalgia Factor: activate!
Man this figure brings me back to my childhood big time because I had the original scorpinok from beast wars when I was a kid. Nice to watch that show every morning on Fox before school with my mom even sometimes it was great good tradition. Now that they're coming back I can share the same experience with my son. The figure itself a little different than the original one but different doesn't mean bad the only thing I don't like is the legs they look a little stubby they're a bit hollow for my taste they give him thicc thighs like a hot chick and I wish that the bee was a projectile even the missiles like the original figure even in the new scorpion figure that came out bye another brand which the third party they had missiles in both clothes and a separate bee nothing was shootable. I just don't understand that kids love projectiles sure they're going to lose them but the adult kids trust me we lose them we're going to look through high and low and pay whatever it takes to replace it so Hasbro you did it this time again just take the next step and next chance will pay the extral money for projectiles if that's even the factor. As with all Kingdom figures, this is a nice, but still familiar, update to the character.
Despite Scorponok barely appearing in the Kingdom part of the Transformers Netflix trilogy, and despite the feelings most people seem to have about the trilogy, I doubt Transformers collectors would find anything to dislike about the figures themselves. He is somewhat small for a Deluxe class, but most Transformers toys nowadays are smaller than once they were, and he makes up for it (and his visible robot mode bits right on the scorpion's underside) with some nice features. The double cluster of missiles lock into either claw well, and the little cyber bee is a particularly nice touch, mostly for fans of the original cartoon- since the cyber bees weren't in evidence in Kingdom. Whatever might be thought of the cartoon (much like the reactions to the live-action movies) this is still a cool figure for fans of the character or the original cartoon.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
