It may well break chains but there are no 'anvils' in the kit to peen over the rivet heads. IT IS NOT A RIVETER. According to the seller, the maunfacturer states that the tool is intended to be used by people who have suitable training and therefore they don't provide instructions. As a fully qualified mechanic, I can state that no amount of training will conjour up the parts required to make this tool into a riveter.
