Part of the Intel Core’s famous family of computer processors, this Intel processor uses the leading silicon process technology designed by Intel. Incorporating Intel Core’s revolutionary microarchitecture, the Intel Core 2 Duo T7700 dual-core processor gives the user an energy efficient, but powerful performance. Offering the user total flexibility, the Intel processor has dual cores or computing engines, which allows the customer to run a number of differentapplication lications and programmes simultaneously, meaning that tasks can be completed faster. Emails can be written whilst downloading music or videos, as well as running an anti-virus programme and otherapplication lications, all at the same time. With a clock speed of 2.4 GHz, the Intel Core 2 Duo T7700 has two socket types that are Socket M and Socket P. With an advanced smart cache memory of 64 KB L1 and an installed size of 4 MB, the Intel processor is built on a 65 nm manufacturing process. The FSB speed of the dual-core processor is 800 MHz.

    Simple plug in performance boost. Directly recognized by BIOS but had to delete processors in Windows 10 and reboot for Windows to get the correct part. Even came with thermal grease to keep things cool!

    Works Well in upgrade combination

    Did my Minor Upgrade on Compaq 6510b which had T7100 @ 1.80GHz to T7700 @ 2.40-GHz along with RAM upgrade from 3GB to total 4GB DDR2 PC2-5300 (667-MHz) Also replaced HDD to SSD and installed Windows 10 Home 64 bit and has been working satisfactorily even in this age.
