I just installed it in my Criterion. I was looking into replacing my chair in its entirety before I found this replacement cylinder as mine was getting to where it'd drop me about half an inch randomly every now and then. So this replacement cylinder is brand new, came with all of the replacement parts needed including bushings, washers, lock ring, the little ball-bearing ring, etc. Honestly the only difficult part was getting the old lock ring out of the chair to get the old cylinder out. There is a helpful video on youtube that shows a step by step. Sitting in the chair right now as i type this and the cylinder hasn't let me down yet. I just installed it in my Criterion. Allowed me to repair a chair I really like.
After many years the pneumatic cylinder on my Steelcase chair started to fail and I thought I would need to give it up. When I discovered this replacement cylinder on ebay I jumped at the chance to try to fix the chair myself. I did discover it is important to watch a youtube tutorial specifically about pneumatic cylinder replacement on a STEELCASE chair. That makes the job MUCH easier.
