Doch in den Nächten ist da plötzlich Frau Wolle. Sie regiert das Reich hinter der schwarzen Tür, von dem Papa früher erzählt hat. Dort wohnen die Spitzzahntrolle, die nur in Reimen reden, und der wachsame Waisenfuchs Silberträne. Da gibt es das Lager der verlorenen Sachen und den Saal der Bonabären, da findet man die Gedankenbremse, und wenn es im Weltempfänger rauscht, können Merle und Moritz Papas Stimme hören. Und das tröstet ungemein.
