Seller notes: “Here is a fine quality antique English Victorian oak desk chair, circa 1860, which has newly ... “Here is a fine quality antique English Victorian oak desk chair, circa 1860, which has newly upholstered in leather and is in excellent condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the oak frame but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The chair has been newly upholstered in top quality full grain sae green leather. Therefore, the leather is in excellent condition, with no signs of wear and tear, damage or holes etc. The chair frame incorporates the traditional brass studwork tacks to the sprung seat perimeter and hessian to the underside. The chair frame boasts a warm oak colour, having been cleaned and French polished in our workshop. The chair legs retain the original solid brass castors, which are also in good condition. This Victorian oak desk chair is solid in joint and ready to use.”
