Sci-fi nostalgia.
I remember this show from when it was first on. I can't recall if I watched it all, which is why I bought it. I remember it as being quite good and it still is so far. Though I have only watched a few discs so far. It is a bit dated but the stories are still interesting and it is interesting to see what now quite famous people had parts in it. I am on a sci-fi binge at the moment with shows like Battlestar and Stargate and I like the fact that this show is something you can dip in and out of. Unlike those other shows that have an ongoing story, where if you miss an episode the next one might not make sense, this show is a load of stand alone stories that can be watched in any order and there are different types of stories: ones about aliens, robots, time travel, science gone wrong, special ... There's something for everyone. There's a lot of stuff to make you think and ask questions and I like shows like that, that teach while entertaining. I also love that cool intro. "We control the horizontal and the vertical..." Worth watching just to hear that guy's voice uttering those words.
