    Vise Grips are the best!

    These look like any other 'mole' type grips, but they really are the benchmark. I've had a mid size set in regular use for 40 years and they're fantastic, these large and small modern ones appear to be just the same quality. The geometry, jaw shape and construction are just superior to all the others, it's not something obvious at all, but they really are different.
