About this product

Product Information

Resembling a 1970s version of QUANTUM LEAP, the British TV show TIMESLIP follows two high-school kids--Simon Randall (Spencer Banks) and Liz Skinner (Cheryl Burfield)--as they travel through time. While on vacation, the two kids discover that they have the ability to go back to the past or forward to the future, and they set off on some wild adventures. Amazingly prescient, the show included what were, at the time, fantastical ideas--ideas that came closer to reality in subsequent decades: we find our two young heroes travelling to an ominous future where cloning is widespread and the ruinous effect of global warming wreaks havoc on the world. A sizeable cult following has kept the show alive over the years, and fans will doubtless be delighted to know that this release contains every TIMESLIP episode ever broadcast.

    The UK strikes again!

    Poor technical work-- mostly due to budget. Fairly good acting-- fairly good writing-- and much better when you can watch them without the long delays, there is more wrong with the series than there is right, but even so, the right is enough to make it worth watching. A bit sharper writing and better budgeting and it could have been a standout. Unfortunately the UK "way of doing things" concentrated on other types of television story work, and science fiction got the short end of the stick. .

    Campy... But a must see for any time traveler!!

    Campy... But a must see for any time traveler!! Some of the sections in this series are close to the montauk experiments. Choppy to follow but is in the fashion that all the series were in the 40's and 50's. The series is black and white.. But for the day it was cutting edge good!! Even now some of the effects are not too bad!! All in All I rate this as a must see time traveler series!! Paul in Iowa

    Different Kind Of Time Travel

    This Time Travel TV program is from England. It's different than I'm used to. The only problem is that it's in Black & White, not color. The 4 stories are kind of cool. I love Time Travel movies, so I'm adding this one to my DVD collection.
