Learning about puzzles
We have always done 1000-piece puzzles, which have pieces half as small as the two smaller puzzles in this 3-puzzle set. Personally we now know we prefer the smaller pieces, as featured only in the boat painting. The little cabin puzzle is perfect for a child. The lighthouse puzzle has an extremely difficult shaded sky. The shading makes the larger pieces more difficult to find than if they were smaller; contradictory but true. This is a difficult puzzle, more dependent on shapes than colors if that is your preference. The boat, we haven't done yet; it is composed of the l000-piece size puzzle pieces we prefer, and the pink/blue mist over the entire painting makes it look like it will be a challenge. The cabin has 100 large pieces. The lighthouse has 550 large pieces. The boat has 700 small pieces.
