Limited double 180gm heavyweight audiophile vinyl LP pressing of this album by the British rock supergroup featuring Eric Clapton on guitar, Ginger Baker on drums and Jack Bruce on bass. This vinyl is housed in a sleeve that features exact reproductions of original artwork in order to retain authenticity. Wheels of Fire was released in 1968 and consisted of a studio and a live record. It reached #3 in the United Kingdom and #1 in the United States, becoming the first platinum-selling double album. In 2003 it was ranked number 203 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.

    Every Cream fan's "must have"

    Bought this album for many reasons, the main one being the epic Crossroads live track. Clapton, Bruce and Baker outdid themselves that night and captured lightning in a bottle with that recording! It's no wonder this became the first double LP in history to exceed 1,000,000 copies sold!

    Cream's "Wheels of Fire" record album.

    Took me back...love the "crackle". My original album was stolen about 50 or more years ago. But had it on 8-track, then cassette, and CD. Forgot about not having the record. Until a few weeks ago. Went to play the album instead of the CD. No record! But, I once again have it and those distant memories!
