    A definitive live action version of the Peter Pan story.

    An excellent live action dramatization of the well-known story. The Peter Pan character is definitely so well cast. He has an attractive winsome smile. Captain Hook is true to the perception of villainy. I was surprised by the casting for Smee (an older Richard Briers, who I could not recognize without the cast list.) Lynn Redgrave is a stuffy elderly aunt. A bewhiskered Geoffrey Palmer appears as a bank executive. The sets are satisfyingly lavish. Definitely the kind of enjoyable feel-good movie that can be watched and watched again. I liked the extra features showing the actors talking about their roles and their challenges. The movie ending was different from what I expected, but the extras had the alternate ending as I did expect.

    Definitely one of my favorite movies growing up, Peter Pan (2003) is the best adaptation of J M Barrie book. The DVD is is in great condition especially since it's two decades old.
