    Great item.

    Works well and is very simple to install. HOWEVER! Take huge amounts of care with the thermal pad, it's very fragile. Luckily there are two because the first one I didn't realise how fragile they are and I ripped it in half! Having said that, I found that the 1mm pad made better contact with the chips on the NVMe so it was rather lucky that I accidentally destroyed the 0.5mm. Subsequent attempts at installing these I found it a significant advantage if you cooled the pads first to make them a little stronger. Pop them in the fridge for 10 mins in their bag. Remove the hard backing first, apply to the heatsink then remove the soft backing and stick it in place. It's not actually that sticky so you need the silicon bands to ensure it stays in place.
