Makes cutting sheet metal easy Yes I tried it on some 2mm sheet even though it only does 1.6 It did it with ease and I thought the worst is the die and punch will break I took my time so it had an easy time Cut about 20 metres in 2mm gently and lots of 1.5mm Its Makita so it will be fine and it did not even struggle. I have sympathy for my tools so did not force it through Cant remember where I put my tin snips lol.
