    the first one was defective but they sent a replacement and it works good and the seller stands by his word i tested 2 cpu 2 different memory and power supply on the first defective one like they asked second replacement they sent took a little extra time and they even tracked it leaving me updates and when it arived i tested it and everything worked with no problems and they stand behind their word negative replacement took longer then the first one

    Product is great nice and fast 8 cores 4 Ghz and turbos to 4.2 Ghz .. Get R Done Performance. I want to get another one for my every day computer.. It runs around 24 C% at 4.2 Ghz on my Liquid Cooled system.. I think it's the best cpu for your money if your still using a AM3+ socket motherboard and wish to upgrade instead of getting or building a new computer..

    Good 8 core(no Threads) windows 7 CPU for light desktop work

    For older windows 7 systems with very light gaming and basic interneting, this works really well, does run too warm with stock air cooler. Nice heavy duty air cooler keeps temperatures good, if an AIO is used they are great.

    This processor does not pass the prime 9...

    This processor does not pass the prime 95 test. It overheats and shuts down. So, I would not recommend these used FX 8350 processors for gaming only. This one will work for me on light duty. It runs at around 40 degrees Celsius but as soon as it has a slight load it shoots up to 65 degrees Celsius.

    old glory

    The best of AM3. The 9590 does exist but it run as hotter than a overheating radiator on a sunny day and with less than 10% at top end bandwidth and a ton of extra power load. May have overclocked their 8350 to 4.7 and running faster. AMD officially says these chips max memory bandwidth is 1866Mhz but even the early 8 series is capable of 2133 and 8350 2400Mhz on a decent board. Water cooling recommended. 4.3 to 4.5 GHz its peer the 7700k. Unlike the 7700k you have windows xp compatibility... Some people are still using these boards with upgraded TPM modules today. The only issue is the pegged PCI-X 16 x2 speed. Most are running retro games so the bandwidth issue isnt such a big deal. Originally the Sledgehammer AMD series was panned as too hot and lacking single core performance. In ...

    AMD FX-8350 excellent Value for Money

    Once installed the AMD FX-8350 puts out excellent gaming and encoding performance. Just be careful to ensure that the processor is handled delicately, the pins are straight before installation. If you need to straighten pins, do so gently and do not force the processor into the socket after straightening!
