Learned that Irwin was a resident of Alton Il and had a collection of 2000 bears. This bear is in wonderful condition with no issues that I can find. When researching this bear. I was able to find on Worthpoint another bear by Irwin B. Same size different color. Was sold on Ebay in 2017. I have priced this one accordingly based on the info I was able to find. The 2017 sale showed that the bear was made with real rabbit fur. I cannot confirm that but other than the color, the hair was very similar. Also the foot pads are of the same similar silky satin fabric I have stated in the title: real rabbit fur? because I cant determine if it is or not. The limbs are articulated and movable. The bear does appear to be handsewn. And very cute of course. The eyes are brown glass with black pupils and the nose and mouth are embroidered in.”
