Nice upgrade for the price
I own a 2001 bugeye. The front passenger door speaker was knackered. £25 on eBay for anova so thought why not upgrade, came across these. Did t want to spend much as don’t have the stereo on much as I like to listen to the engine more 😉 but it is nice to have a little music. As in the description, the packer provided does NOT fit the original holes and is far to big but yes, you can drill a few new holes to secure. The worst thing I found about this was the packer is way to big in diameter and thickness. I got it to fit the best I could but both front door cards to do fit fully over. The keep popping out due to the size of the packer/converter should I say. I will change the packer size on a machine a work so they are not as thick then all will be good but other Swiss the soakers them ... I own a 2001 bugeye. 06 Kia picanto 1.1 quality upgrade!
Was just testing the water with these speakers and to be honest I think they will be hard to beat for the price. Sound quility is awsome however they don't like a lot of bass but what do you expect from such a small speaker at a low cost. Just hope they will last. Fast delivery, affordable, easy to fit 40 minutes to be precise, good description. Will be buying another set if there is wiring in my rear doors...Was just testing the water with these speakers and to be honest I think they will be hard to beat for the price. Sound quility is awsome however they don't like a lot of bass but what do you expect from such a small speaker at a low cost. Just hope they will last. After spending awhile trying to find the most suitable speakers for my crappy mk1 connect I came across this! Ordered and dispatched same day. Unfortunately it gave a longer delivery expected date so I was not in to sign for it and had to collect from local royal mail. On opening all seemed good and they also provided a pair of speaker connectors so no wire stripping and heats shrink needed! Fitted real easy, less than 15 minutes to take door card of, test and fit. Audio is far more superior than stock and boy do I hear the difference.
