Absolutely love this bit of kit. A newbie to triathlon I tried to only buy the absolute essentials in case I didn't stick with the sport. After extensive research, I eventually bit the bullet and treated myself to a garmin and I haven't looked back since. I haven't used it in competition yet but find it invaluable in my everyday training. It is easy to use, looks great on my wrist and is made well. I've synced mine up to my strava account so I can compare my training performances. I honestly don't know how I managed without it.Absolutely love this bit of kit. Not so perfect!
These watches throw up quite a few errors eventually. Glitches. They are good at what they do until they are not. Expect problems after a couple of years at most. The problems arise because of the little buttons becoming non functional. Wether from water ingress or wear I'm not totally sure. But it will happen. Sooner rather than later unfortunately.

Garmin 735 XT watch
I'm mainly a cyclist. Got this to replace my aging Garmin 800. Bluetooth connectivity a real step forward, very easy to set up, huge range of watch faces available to download, heart monitor as good as can be expected ie not absolutely perfect with the odd wobble but pretty good (and I find I keep checking it :-) ) and anyway links easily with a chest strap for more accurate readings, comprehensive manual can be found online. It's very light and so fine for all day wear. Runs for days off one recharge in watch mode (ie not using gps). What's not to like?I'm mainly a cyclist. Got this to replace my aging Garmin 800. Great watch
Bought this because of the limitations and difficulty I have had with my Samsung. Very pleased with the battery life, the EXCELLENT GPS and the ease of activity transfer to Strava. My only complaint is that negotiating options/controls took some getting used to. Love the different activity screens I can have.

Great Watch for Daily use and sports
This is a really nice watch, i have found it pretty easy to use and anything i can't work out for myself, a quick search on the net answers any questions. I've used it for Running, swimming and cycling and the 735 is the perfect partner. My only grip is with the Optical Heart Rate sensor. It's very flaky and frequently drops out, it works as a rough guide though.
