Childhood memories enchanting
Red this serries when a child red to my children and got it for the grandchildren. Although a couple of names have been changed the excitement and intrigue are still there .when it arrived I found myself reading it again and got distracted from the household duties engrossed once again buy buy buy it . All the adventures of Joe Rick and Fran are wonderful as they climb the tree and see their friends moon face. Dame wash alot. These books were read time and time again by me as a child. Iam 72 now! I brought them to revisit the fantastic world they created in my mind. I think that they have been edited in someway to be more 21st century, as some of the text is quite modern. The covers are pretty, and I am enjoying them. Perhaps it's just an old lady's mind that is playing tricks. I would recommend them to today's children as it's a fantasy world that is in no way offensive.These books were read time and time again by me as a child. Iam 72 now!
