  • Adults would appreciate the irony of these retold tales.

The stories in this book are a very novel retelling of the traditional children's fairy tales. However, I think it is a book mainly to be appreciated by the adults reading the stories. The child listeners would have to have knowledge of the traditional stories to appreciate the irony of the retelling otherwise they fall flat, I'm afraid.

  • Great book

I read this book when I was a child and loved it. The quality of the book is fantastic and I'm happy to be able to pass it on to a friends child to enjoy it.
