    excellent product, does what it says

    We had a very large and difficult outside repair on a wood beam over sun room windows, tried many approaches without real success until we came across this product, It was a huge success, was easy and simply to use and completed a super repair of which we are very satisfied. Strongly recommend the use of this product.

    Great wood filler

    My 12y old decking has rotten in a couple of small areas where pots have been. I've given it an overhaul and used this to fill in a few holes from half inch deep and a few inch squared. It's gone on easy and I've shaped it once dried with a chisel to match the decking tread. Stained it with the slate strain I've used in the rest of the deck and it looks great.

    The best product for a quick fix for bigger holes

    This product seems like a cross between water mix powder filler and the wood putty you mix with hardener. It's easier than the putty to shape and clean. It's better than powder mix for doing deep holes in one go but more expensive. Yet to learn if it lasts longer. Of course, if it's a really big hole, ask if you should be replacing some wood?!

    Disappointing

    Disappointing product. Despite careful measuring and mixing some parts of the repair remained soft 48 hours after application. Did harden eventually. Suggest stirring individual parts before mixing and stirring again. Then leave for a minimum of 48 hours before further work on the repair. Polycell need to improve the quality of this product if it is to live up to their claims of speed.
