    This filter darkens as well as filters.

    This filter darkens the image as well as polarizing. I'm not familliar enough with ND filters to identify its rating but its almost a full stop of light darker. Its is a circular polarizer AND and ND filter. Perhaps the darkness is due to poor glass quality.
