    Does what it says.

    This product does what it says - it supplies you with your blood type. You need to follow the instructions, which are fairly straightforward. Slightly irritating in that it keeps mentioning 'Eldon' this and 'Eldon' that, like the objects in question don't actually have another name and have to be called 'Eldon' something, though if you can bear that then go for it, this works well. Also, you need to be able to read the results. I wasn't sure why a 'control' is needed, though I guess it was. Make sure you keep the 'Eldon' sticks away from each other, after applying blood to them. The puncturing a hole in your finger bit was really quite painless, for me. Simple.

    Would you risk your life based on this product?

    Having read reviews of the kit I bought 2. I followed the instructions precisely, the first test didn't react, the second gave a spurious result. The supplier blames me for failing to do the tests properly but I have a witness to the fact that the second test was done exactly as per the instructions (as was the first). I need to know my blood group for a motorcycle tour in India, I am now going to pay for a proper blood test as I wouldn't trust this product at all.

    Easy instructions, works when followed.

    This is the second kit I've purchased, using one for myself and one for my wife. The low cost of getting this testing kit is so much better than the cost of having to go through our NHS/local council blood testing mess of red tape and confusing legislation. We needed to know our Blood types for overseas travel to certain countries. Satisfied.

    Easy to use with immediate results

    I bought this as I am an organ donor but did not know what my blood type was. I found this very easy to use and the results were clear. Try to do the finger prick on a flat surface. The results are immediate and you receive a piece of laminate sheet in the pack if you need to keep the results - let it dry first. I was so impressed that I got one for my partner too as he did not know his blood type.

    Fast and easy, worth every penny!

    -Easy instructions -minimum effort needed -fast results I fully recommend, not to mention that every person needs to know their blood type in case of emergency! IMPORTANT NOTE: Follow the instructions carefully! In my first attempt I've messed up and had to order a new kit.
