    Stylish spy thriller supported by a good cast.

    An underrated and seldom shown film, clearly influenced by the James Bond genre of the day, and helped by a soundtrack from the talented John Barry. There are excellent performances from the lead stars, all helped by a very good supporting cast and exotic film locations. Highly recommended to those who still enjoy the stylish old "Bond style" romps.

    I saw this film many years ago it has stuck in my memory I was hoping to buy the dvd but the company I was buying it through couldn't get hold of it & refunded my payment I am gutted why advertise a product if they have no stock to sell? transfer from somewhere else OK but not have one BAD NEWS if & when I will review again see if it lives up to my memory

    The Tamarind Seed (DVD 2004)

    Love the combination of cold war spying, love and settings intrigue of the spy world and the intense love that builds between the 2 main characters played by Julie Andrews and Omaar Sharif in a safe house on a island well worth watching
