    book is in excellent condition

I love the story of the boy who didn't know he was a wizard. Harry Potter is old news now, but I will always love the story! I wanted this book as a collectible. It is in excellent condition. Pleased with my purchase.

  • Great book for all ages!

This is an excellent book that catches the attention of people from all ages, races, nationalities, etc. I really enjoyed this book, as well as the six that preceded it. It is an excellent way for people to use their imagination, not just kids but adults as well! You will find youself rooting for Harry as he comes of age, as well as crying through his hardships! All around great book! And I love how there are things that JK Rowling briefly mentions in one book and then it is brought up again in later books, so that you have to go back and re-read the series to get the full effect of how she is such a creative genius!

  • The Perfect Addition to My Harry Potter Collection!!

This is actually my mother's account, but here is my fangirl review. I am a college student now, so I know I should be reading more serious material than Harry Potter, but the truth is the Harry Potter books have been a part of my life since I was seven years old. Of course, I sat up at midnight every time a new book would be released, anxiously awaiting reading that first chapter of another adventure. Being the owner of all seven Harry Potter books is an amazing feeling, but I felt this book would complete my collection. This is it: The real first book. The British version of the first book- the one that started it all. I just had to have it, and it didn't disappoint! I love this book, and would recommend that any real Harry Potter fan buy it.

  • hmmm...english version?

This is the book that started a revolution in Wizardry and magic. I know that when I first heard about the book, I wanted to read it and when I did get it, i couldnt put it down. Kind of hard to believe that this book came out in 1998. It seems like it has always been a part of my life. (The movies arent bad either.) I highly recommend this book and this entire series of books and movies. A++

  • HP is the best!

I've been re-reading the HP books for years but decided I wanted to read the UK version, specifically of the Philosopher's Stone. I am so glad I did! Now I want a full set of the UK books!
