Good Product for Price Range
Overall, good Design. The 14mm Spndle Diameter is larger than most - giving inreased strength. A lot of Brake Discs of larger Bikes have Holes and Slots which are significantltly larger than 14mm, resulting in Disc Lock have a lot of free movement - I resolved this by using a number of 14mm Shim Washers on the Spindle ( increaing 'Fitting' Diameter )

What price for peace of mind. This disc lock may be expensive compared to some others but !!!! Yes a big but, you get what you pay for and in the Abus Granit Victory X-Plus 68. It is a quality thatcham approved disc lock that inspires confidence that your pride and joy has a better chance of still being where you parked it. A visual deterrent as well as being harder to cut through than the standard disc lock due to the spinning mechanism. It even comes with a torch key a spare key and a key code. Very substantial disc lock with lots of great security features. I have an Abus shackle-type disc lock, but it is not easy to transport. For this pin-type disc lock I am making up a simple bracket with a hole in it, to enable secure transportation, that is easily accessible. Note: The pin is too short for some spoked wheels with small diameter discs, you may need the long pin version and/or the half round version.Very substantial disc lock with lots of great security features. Works for me...
A different take on the disc lock design. Makes life a bit trickier for those that like nicking things. The advice about putting it the wrong way around for extra security is probably good, but I couldn't get it through my rotors. The build quality is good, and the rotating parts is a good idea too. Comes with a neat pouch to put it in whilst on the road.
